South Africa reached the Semi-final of the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup after their match against West Indies was washed away due to rain on Thursday. South Africa became the second team to reserve a spot in the semi-final after Australia.
Only 10.5 overs were played before rain interrupted the match. West Indies won the toss and decided to bowl first. South Africa was 61/4 before the match was abandoned due to rain.

Both the teams shared 1 point each. With 9 points from six matches, South Africa is through the semis and they still have one match against India left while the West Indies have no matches left. West Indies is placed 3rd in the standings with 7 points and they will keenly follow other group matches including the match between India & South Africa.
