Australian bowling legend Glenn McGrath has gained a new moniker outside the cricketing arena. In a video that's now gone viral, McGrath can be seen fearlessly capturing a snake in his own home, earning him the title of 'snake catcher' from his fans.

Sharing the video on his Instagram account, McGrath wrote, "After plenty of encouragement & support from @saraleonmcgrath, all 3 Coastal Carpet Pythons that were in the house were safely released back into the bush #carpetpython #snakecatcher #notthebestfootwear."

Remarkably, McGrath, clad in flip-flops throughout the ordeal, skillfully removed the three snakes with the assistance of only a mop stick. Fans marveled at his daring act, finding it almost unbelievable. The video also captured the audible sounds of excitement and concern from his wife, Sara Leon McGrath, who questioned whether she should be filming the whole thing in the first place.
