In a video posted by the Indian pacer on social media platform Instagram, the pacer is seen rescuing a car accident victim near Nainital and also gave him medical help after making sure he is alright.
Shami captioned the post "He’s so lucky god gave him 2nd life. His car fall down from the hill road near Nanital just in front of my car. We took him out very safely.”
Shami recently finished as the top wicket taker in the ICC Cricket World Cup with 24 scalps to his name where Team India finished as runners-up, falling behind in the final against Australia by 6 wickets.
