There often comes a time for a player when life gives him an opportunity to come out as a hero and that time came for Hanuma Vihari during a Ranji Trophy game.

He displayed exceptional level of determination as the Andhra Pradesh star came out to bat with a fractured wrist in the match against defending champions Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday.

Despite being a right-handed batter, Vihari decided to bat left-handed that too with just one hand and saw off deliveries from Avesh Khan.

He had retired hurt on 16 but came back and added 11 more runs with a broken wrist before being out for 27.
