Former Indian captain Virat Kohli has responded to Babar Azam’s message of support on Twitter.

The Indian batter replied to the Pakistan captain’s ‘Stay strong’ tweet and thanked him for his gesture. Kohli wrote: ‘Thank you. Keep shining and rising. Wish you all the best.'

While the former Indian captain has come under fire for his poor returns with the bat recently, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam tweeted out a picture with Virat Kohli captioned ‘This too shall pass. Stay strong.’

Babar’s tweet immediately went viral and the No. 1 batter in ODIs and T20Is was applauded for his message of support for the out-of-form Kohli.

Virat Kohli's last international ton came in November 2019. And he’s been short of runs on the tour of England as well. But Kohli fans will be hoping that the Indian talisman can get back to his best very soon.
