Vice captaincy will not be added burden on me: Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav will now be in the leadership mix of the Indian Team as BCCI named the batting sensation the vice-captain of the national side for the Sri Lanka series that begins on January 3.

SKY, who considers the elevation a reward said that he was not expecting it and only got to know after his father forwarded him the team list.

'I came to know from my dad who is always active on social media. He forwarded me the list and also sent me a short message -- 'not to take any pressure and enjoy your batting', Surya revealed. 

Suryakumar who has emerged as India's batting mainstay in the T20 format said that while it feels like a dream to him, he does not carry any extra baggage and the new role will not affect his style of play. 'Whenever I'm batting, I just go out there to enjoy my game' he said.
