Zimbabwe all-rounders Wessly Madhevere and Brandon Mavuta along with batter Kevin Kasuza were suspended from all cricket for recreational drug use.

Madhevere and Mavuta have been banned by Zimbabwe Cricket for a period of four months and were also fined 50% of their salaries of three months effective from January 2024.

Madhevere and Mavuta's rehabilitation will be undertaken by the cricket board. The two last featured for Zimbabwe against Ireland in December 2023.

Meanwhile, Kasuza has been suspended from all cricket-related activities with immediate effect after he tested positive for a drug last week.

Kasuza has not played for Zimbabwe since 2021.
