The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah has confirmed that the upcoming T20I series between India and South Africa will not have bio-bubble restrictions.
In an interview with the Times of India, Jay Shah said, "If I’m not wrong, the bio-bubble for IPL-2022 was the last. Players will be tested for the India-SA series (for Covid), but there will be no bio-bubble."

The cricketers have been playing in bio-bubble since the Covid-19 struck and this will be the first international series in the last two years without bio-bubble restrictions.
Notably, India will take on South Africa in a five-match T20I home series which will start on June 9.
