About a year after India's Mohammed Siraj was racially abused at the Sydney Cricket Ground, England's Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes faced abuse at the same venue.

As the pair was returning to the dressing room after a hard-fought second session on Day 3 of the 4th Ashes Test, a few spectators made nasty comments against them. Both cricketers were body-shamed and even got engaged in a verbal spat with those fans. Security evicted 3 spectators from the ground following the ugly episode.

Interestingly, Bairstow smashed a gritty hundred later on and stated that it would be nicer if those spectators were there giving it when he walked off at the end.
