Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has voiced his support for the misfiring Suryakumar Yadav.

Yuvraj took to Twitter to remind his followers that a sportsperson will not always perform at the peak of his powers, but will have rough patches as well.

He wrote, "Every sports person goes thru ups & downs in their career! We've all experienced it at sum point. I believe Suryakumar is a key player for India & will play an imp role in the WorldCup if given the opportunities. Let's back our players coz our Surya will rise again"

Yuvraj's statement of support for Suryakumar comes after the latter's place in the ODI side came into question after 3 consecutive golden ducks against Australia.
