In delighting news for Indian cricket fans, Rishabh Pant made an on-field return during a practice match on August 15.
The Southpaw batted for the first time in about 8 months but looked in good touch. Pant even smashed a six, which gathered the loudest cheer.
The wicketkeeper-batter met with a car crash in December and has been out of action since then.
He has been under rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru and is making a good recovery.
However, despite showing great signs, he isn't expected to make a comeback anytime before IPL 2024.
