Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, who is out of the Asia Cup due to injury, could also miss the flight to Australia for the T20 World Cup later this year.

If reports floating in the media are to be believed, Bumrah's back injury, which ruled him out of competitive cricket in 2019, has resurfaced.

The BCCI is concerned over Bumrah's injury given it is the same old issue that kept him out for a significant period and with just two months left for the T20 World Cup, the injury has come up at the worst possible time.

28-year-old Bumrah is currently undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
