After leading India Under-19 team to glory in the World Cup, Yash Dhull made his Ranji Trophy debut in style.

While opening the batting for his domestic team Delhi, Dhull smashed a hundred on Day 1 of the Delhi vs Tamil Nadu match in Guwahati. As wickets kept tumbling from another end, Dhull showed great resilience and steadied Delhi's innings before getting dismissed for 113.

In the process, Dhull became fourth Indian Under 19 captain to score a ton on Ranji debut after Vijay Zol (2013), Prithvi Shaw (2017), Priyam Garg  (2018).

Earlier, Delhi Capitals bought Yash Dhull for Rs 50 lakh in the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. Dhull became the fifth Indian captain to win ICC Under-19 World Cup.
