PM Narendra Modi to lay foundation stone of Varanasi Cricket Stadium on September 23

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to lay the foundation stone for the proposed international cricket stadium in the Ganjari area of Varanasi on September 23. 

The foundation laying ceremony which is being organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India and Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association will also be reportedly attended by former cricketers.

The upcoming stadium will reportedly have a seating capacity of 30,000 people and the cost is estimated to be around ₹450 crores. As per reports, the design and drawings of the stadium have been finalised.
