Speculations of Pakistan playing its 2023 ODI World Cup games in Bangladesh and not in India were doing the rounds but the ICC cleared the air on Wednesday.

An ICC official told Cricbuzz that Bangladesh was not discussed at all at the Board meeting and full backing for the event in India was given by the Board.

Moreover, BCB chief executive Nizamuddin also clarified to Cricbuzz that he was not aware of any such developments.

Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had threatened to pull out of the ODI World Cup in India, if the Asia Cup was moved out of Pakistan due to BCCI's reluctance to send Team India there.
