Pakistan's prolific keeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan was named the new vice-captain of the country's T20I team.

The official Pakistan Cricket Board announcement comes ahead of the Men in Green's 5-match T20I series in New Zealand. Rizwan will be deputy to Shaheen Shah Afridi's captaincy.

Afridi and Rizwan's appointments are part of the overhaul of Pakistan's leadership following Babar Azam's exit as the captain of all three formats last year.
