Babar Azam may not be on most people's fab 4 list but the Pakistan skipper is batting in a league of his own.

The 28-year-old added another feather to his cap during Pakistan vs New Zealand 1st Test as he now holds the record of scoring the most international runs in a calendar year for Pakistan. He broke Mohammad Yousuf's record, who had scored 2435 runs in 2006.

Apart from that, with 25 scores of over 50 in 2022, Babar Azam broke Ricky Ponting’s record for scoring the most fifty-plus scores as captain in a calendar year in international cricket.
