Former Pakistan Cricketer Shahid Afridi has slammed the Pakistan Cricket Board after they reportedly told the International Cricket Council that they do not want their ODI World Cup matches scheduled in Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium unless it is a knockout game.

While speaking to a local news channel, Afridi questioned why was PCB declining to play in Ahmedabad and said, 'Does it hurl fire or is it haunted?'

He went on to add, 'Go and play, go play and win. If these are the foreseen challenges then the only way to overcome them is through a comprehensive victory. What matters at the end of the day is Pakistan's victory, the crux only and only lies there, take this rather positively, if India is comfortable there you should go and pull a victory in front of packed Indian crowds and show them what you got.
