With the ODI World Cup less than 2 months away, Team India's starting eleven is still not confirmed with batters like KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer battling in a race against time to get back to match fitness.

Both batters could miss out on a World Cup spot if they fail to make it to the Asia Cup squad with the tournament starting from August 30.

Team India were hoping to play their full strength side in the Asia Cup but couldn't make it happen with the list of absentees including Bumrah, Rahul, Iyer, and Prasidh Krishna still being out of action.

While Bumrah and Krishna set to make their return against Ireland, Rahul and Iyer's return is still not decided.
