This captivating journey culminated with a remarkable landing at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad, India.
The trophy embarked on this breathtaking expedition by being tethered to a specially designed stratospheric balloon, capturing stunning 4k camera footage of its presence at the edge of the Earth's atmosphere.
With the upcoming marquee event set to take place in India, the 2023 Trophy Tour promises to be the most expansive to date, allowing cricket fans worldwide to engage with the revered silverware in various countries and cities across the globe.
Commencing on June 27, the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Trophy will embark on a journey to 18 countries, including notable destinations such as Kuwait, Bahrain, Malaysia, USA, Nigeria, Uganda, France, Italy, and the host country, India.
This comprehensive Trophy Tour, the first of its kind since 2019, aims to recreate the celebratory and festive ambiance experienced during the highly anticipated event.
The journey will commence in India on June 27, traverse the globe, and conclude back in the host nation on September 4.
