England beat New Zealand by 267 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the 2-match Test series.

Having reduced New Zealand to an overnight score of 63/5 in their run chase of 394, the visitors needed less than a session to take the remaining five wickets.

It was a game where England once again showcased 'Bazball', highlighted by how they declared for 325 on the opening day after playing just 58.2 overs.

While Tom Blundell's hundred did keep England's lead down to just 19 in the first innings, the visitors managed 374 in the 2nd essay. And Stuart Broad's incredible spell saw the Kiwis stutter to 28/5, before finally folding for 126 in the 4th inns.
