Not disappointed: Dhruv Jurel shares his thoughts on missing out on maiden Test century | IND vs ENG

India's 23-year-old Dhruv Jurel saved the team during the first innings of the Ranchi Test match. At the JSCA International Stadium, Jurel saved India from certain disaster and put them in a strong position to win the fourth Test match and win the series.

Jurel, who was playing in just his second Test match and innings, was immediately given a difficult task. Jurel closed the first innings deficit by scoring 90 runs off just 149 balls, including six fours and four sixes. The wicketkeeper-batsman appeared briefly irritated after dropping his wicket as he made his way back to the dressing room, but he was unfazed by the action on Day 3 in Ranchi.

"I have no regrets about missing a century in Ranchi. My only dream is to lift the series trophy with my own hands. It was my dream to play Test cricket for my country," Jurel said in the press conference after the conclusion of Day 3 of the fourth Test match.

The youngster also revealed how there is a good understanding between him and Kuldeep Yadav since they both hail from Uttar Pradesh. 

"I have a good rapport with Kuldeep, we are both from UP and we kept speaking to each other," Jurel added.
