Ever since the long-haired MS Dhoni made his international debut back in 2004, his hairstyle has been no less than a style statement.
MSD might have opted to cut his hair short in 2008 but Dhoni is growing it back this year. However, it's a 'boring' task for the former India skipper.
During a recent event, he said, 'Earlier when I used to go for ad films, I usually got ready in 20 minutes, hair, makeup everything. Now it takes 1 hour, 5 minutes- 1 hour, 10 minutes. It's a bit boring, just sitting on that chair and waiting, but all my fans have appreciated my hairstyle. So, I'll try to keep it for some time.'
as the crowd started applauding, Dhoni said, 'I agree with you but it's quite a task to maintain this. I'll try to keep it but maybe one fine day I might decide to chop it off.'
Fans have been speculating that MSD might be planning to retire from the IPL for good after the 2024 season and he might be bidding cricket adieu with long hair, just like he started his career 19 years ago.
