Indian pacer Mohd Siraj has been roped in by Warwickshire for the remainder of the 2022 county season. Siraj, who is currently in Zimbabwe for the 3-match ODI series, will travel to England before the club's next county fixture against Somerset on September 12.

Siraj will become the sixth Indian player after Cheteshwar Pujara (Sussex), Washington Sundar (Lancashire), Krunal Pandya (Warwickshire), Umesh Yadav (Middlesex) and Navdeep Saini (Kent) to sign up with a county side.

While Krunal is also part of Warwickshire, he's only playing the Royal London One-day Cup.
With just one win from 11 games, Warwickshire are currently 8th on the Division one table. Siraj will be available for their 3 remaining matches as they look to avoid relegation to Division Two.
