IND VS BAN ODI Series: Mohd Shami ruled out; Umran Malik named replacement

Troubles for senior fast bowler Mohammed Shami do not seem to find an end. The Indian cricketer has been ruled out of the ODI series against Bangladesh due to a shoulder injury. 

Shami who hurt himself during a training session post the T20 World Cup in Australia is currently under NCA's supervision in Bengaluru. The 32-year-old who did not travel with the team on December 1st to Bangladesh has now been replaced by Umran Malik, BCCI confirmed in a statement. 

Shami could also miss the upcoming two-Test series starting December 14. India is set to play a 3-match ODI and 2-match Test series vs Bangladesh starting December 4th.
