Just 2 days after he was given bail in the domestic violence case, Mohammed Shami made headlines once again, but this time on the cricket field.
The pacer bamboozled Australia's batting line-up in the 1st ODI in Mohali by picking up his second 5-wicket haul in one day cricket.
Shami meant business from ball 1 itself as he dismissed Mitchell Marsh in the very first over of the match.
He then cleaned up Steve Smith with an absolute jaffa. Even former head coach Ravi Shastri couldn't resist praising that delivery.
The fast bowler then scalped Marcus Stoinis, Matthew Short and Sean Abbott to finish with figures of 5 for 51 in 10 overs. It also included a maiden over.
His brilliant bowling helped Team India bowl out Australia for 276.
Shami might not be a regular in India's playing XI lately but he has definitely sent out a loud statement to the management.
