One of the 2 new IPL teams, the Lucknow franchise made its debut on social media on Tuesday and asked fans to suggest a name for the team.
A Twitter post by the franchise read 'IPL ke itihaas mein pehli baar, team ka naam rakhenge aap'. It had a link for the fans where they could give their suggestions. With the IPL mega auction set to take place in February, both Lucknow and the Ahmedabad franchises are expected to reveal their official names soon.
The Lucknow franchise had earlier named Zimbabwe great Andy Flower as its head coach and former KKR skipper Gautam Gambhir as its team mentor.
