The start of South Africa's new T20 league, the SA20, is less than a fortnight away and former South African captain AB de Villiers is hopeful that the tournament can provide a much-needed boost to the sport in the country.

Comparing it with how IPL changed his life, de Villiers said the league will give South African youngsters the base and the foundation to get exposure at the highest level.

Mr. 360 told Cricket South Africa that they have witnessed these T20 tournaments do wonders for cricket in a country and he believes SA20 is coming at a very good time for South Africa as well.
