As Asia Cup 2023 gets closer, speculations around KL Rahul's selection are doing the rounds.

Contrary to earlier reports, the wicketkeeper-batter is on the road to being fully fit and could be available for selection when the BCCI picks Team India squad for Asia Cup.

Sources told IANS that he has been batting in the nets and could be available for the Indian team’s upcoming matches.

Rahul has been out of action since he injured his right thigh during an IPL match. He is on the road to recovery at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru and is undergoing strength and fitness drills.
