After Team India head coach Rahul Dravid made it clear that there were no disciplinary issues against Ishan Kishan, there are reports that he is in consideration to be India's wicketkeeper for the Test series against England.

According to Cricbuzz, Kishan is likely to make himself available for selection for the 5-match Test series at home. He is currently at a break from cricket and flew back home from South Africia citing mental fatigue.

He will however, have to play a domestic game before he can be selected. The team management's policy, led by Rahul Dravid, insists a player to do that if he takes a long break from cricket. As a result, Ishan may play Jharkhand's next game against Services in Delhi from January 19.

KL Rahul, who donned the wicketkeeping gloves in Test cricket as well in South Aafrica, is set to play as a specialist batter in the 5 Tests vs England.

The report added that the management wanted Rahul to focus on his batting and avoid undue strain, considering his recent back surgery.
