IPL 2022: Delhi Capitals' Anrich Nortje to miss couple of games?

Delhi Capitals superstar Anrich Nortje will have to miss a couple of games at the beginning of the IPL 2022 season due to his injury, as per a Cricbuzz report.

The report mentioned that the 28-year-old who arrived in Mumbai last week will probably play in Delhi's third match which is against Lucknow Super Giants on April 7th at DY Patil stadium.

This means Nortje will not play against Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans on 27th March and 2nd April. Currently, the pacer who was retained by Delhi for Rs 6.5 crore is undergoing quarantine.

It was uncertain if the South African cricketer will participate in the 15th edition of IPL but the franchise heaved a sigh of relief after he arrived in Mumbai last week. He had not been participating in international games for the past 5 months due to his hip injury.
