IPL 2022: Big blow for Lucknow Super Giants, Mark Wood out with an injury

Lucknow Super Giants suffered a major blow as their big buy Mark Wood has been ruled out of the upcoming IPL 2022 season which is set to begin on March 26th, reported ESPNCricinfo.

The English cricketer had suffered a right elbow injury during England's first Test against West Indies in North Sound last week. LSG who bought the fast bowler for 7.5 cr has been informed by the England Cricket Board that due to his injury, Wood will not be able to bowl in the IPL.

The new IPL team whose campaign will begin on 28th March against Gujarat Titans is yet to announce a replacement for Mark Wood.
