India's campaign opener and the blockbuster clash against Pakistan which will take place on September 2nd at Pallekelle Stadium in Kandy might face rain interruptions. 

Accuweather's prediction of the day shows a 26-degree temperature along with a thick cloud cover and humid with a couple of showers.

The weather portal predicts a 84% probability of precipitation and 24% chance of thunderstorms.  While 98% cloud cover is expected, a maximum of 2 hours of rain is expected during the day. 

While the match begins at 3 PM (IST & local time), the portal shows a 60% chance of rain from 6 PM onwards.

Babar Azam's men have won their opener with a humongous margin of 238 against Nepal, and India who are in Sri Lanka will begin their campaign against Pakistan on Sept 2nd.
