India vs Ireland: Another successful return from injury! Prasidh Krishna stars on T20I debut

Prasidh Krishna grabbed eyeballs as he not only made a successful return to international cricket but also starred on his T20I debut against Ireland in the first T20I in Dublin.

Krishna who recently recovered from his lumbar spine injury was out of action since August 2022. The promising pacer picked 2 wickets in his maiden game in the shortest format. 

He dismissed Harry Tector in his first-ever T20I over which was the fifth over of the game. Tilak Varma caught Tector at short third man. An over later, the 27-year-old removed George Dockrell after Ruturaj Gaikwad took the catch at cover.

Ravi Bishnoi (2/23) and Arshdeep Singh (1/35) also were among the wickets as India restricted the Irish men to 139/7 in the opening T20I of the three-match series
