The Indian cricket team is set to play its third pink-ball test at home after BCCI president Sourav Ganguly confirmed that the Sri Lanka Test series will include a Day/Night Test.

In a chat with Sportstar, Ganguly said that pink-ball Test will be played in Bengaluru, however, the decision on all the venues for the Sri Lanka series is yet to be taken.

Notably, the Bengaluru test is going to be India's former Test captain Virat Kohli's 100th Test match. Sri Lanka is scheduled to tour India for two Tests and three T20Is later this month.

Earlier, India has played only two pink-ball Tests at the home soil, first against Bangladesh at Kolkata while the second against England in Ahmedabad.
