IND vs SL: Wanindu Hasaranga tests Covid-19 positive, ruled out of three-match T20 series vs India

Sri Lanka all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga was ruled out for the three-match T20I series against India due to a Covid-19 infection.

Hasaranga was tested positive for Covid-19 during Sri Lanka's tour of Australia. In the latest round of the RT-PCR test, Hasaranga returned positive again.

Earlier, Hasaranga was bought for Rs 10.75 crore by Royal Challengers Bangalore during IPL 2022 mega auctions.

Team India is also missing many big names, Deepak Chahar, Suryakumar Yadav have been ruled out with injuries & Virat Kohli along with Rishabh Pant have been rested for the 3-match T20 series.
