The BCCI has accepted Sri Lanka Cricket's request and has announced a change in schedule to make it more convenient for the touring party.

Since the Lankans will be coming off a T20 series against Australia before landing in India, it will be convenient for them to send a team that will be already in a bubble. Hence, Sri Lanka's tour will start with the T20 series. 1st game will be played in Lucknow on February 24 before two back to back T20I on February 26 and 27 in Dharamsala.

The focus will then shift the Test matches with the first game starting March 4 in Mohali. The 2nd and final Test will be a Day/Night fixture in Bengaluru and will start from March 12.
