The first game of the 3-match ODI series between India and South Africa will be played at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow. However, the weather in the city threatens to play a major role on matchday.

While it rained continuously on Wednesday, a day before the game, the weather forecast suggests that rain could play a spoilsport. As per reports, there is a 50% chance of rain during the daytime with over 90% of cloudy weather throughout the day.

After winning the 3-match T20I series vs South Africa 2-1, the Shikhar Dhawan-led team will hope to continue on the winning run when they face the Proteas in the first game of the series on Thursday.
