Richa Ghosh on Tuesday etched her name in the history books as she smashed the fastest ODI half-century by an Indian woman.
She achieved the feat in the 4th ODI vs New Zealand when Richa smashed her fifty off just 26 balls. She was eventually out for 52. The game was reduced to 20-over a side contest due to rain.
However, Richa's effort went in vain as India lost the ODI by 63 runs and were all out for a mere 128 while chasing a 192-run-target. New Zealand has now taken a 4-0 lead in the 5-match ODI series.
