With Australia aiming to end a 19-year drought of Test series win in India, former captain Greg Chappell believes that the unavailability of hard-hitting batter Rishabh Pant and pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has made Team India vulnerable this time around.

While Pant has been nursing his injuries which he sustained after a car crash, it is expected that Bumrah could get fit for the last two Tests.

In an opinion piece for Sydney Morning Herald, the former India coach wrote that visiting teams are often fooled by a game that seems to be going nowhere but it changes suddenly at a frenetic pace.

He elaborated that Indians are used to this and Australia will have to adapt quickly with the mind, bat and ball in order to win an elusive Test series in India.
