Australian opener David Warner has been ruled out of the second Test in Delhi after he failed a concussion Test at the end of day 1.

Warner, who was stuck on the helmet by a Mohd Siraj delivery in the 10th over, didn't undergo a close examination from the team doctor at the time of the incident.

Even though the southpaw was dismissed in the 16th over, he didn't take the field when India came out to bat late in the day.

He subsequently failed a concussion Test and Australia have named Matt Renshaw as his replacement.
