ICC: WTC final to be held on June 7-11 at The Oval in England

The International Cricket Council revealed the date of the final of the second edition of the World Test Championship.

The WTC final will start on June 7 at The Oval in England. 

While the two finalists may not yet be known, India and Australia are likely to be the two teams to make the trip to England.

However, South Africa also have an outside chance to make it to the WTC final along with the Kangaroos if the India-Australia 4-match Test series ends in a 1-1 draw. The doors to the summit clash will also be open to them if India lose the series at home.

In the previous edition of the World Test Championship, New Zealand edged India out to become the inaugural champions.
