The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday announced the total prize money of over Rs 46 crore ($5.6 million) for the ICC T20 World Cup Down Under.

The winner of the 2022 World Cup will take home Rs 13 crore ($1.6 million) while the runner-up will receive a sum of around Rs 6.5 crore. Meanwhile, the team that will get knocked out in the semi-final stage will get around Rs 3.5 crore.
