England's hard-hitting batter Harry Brook had a tremendous outing with the bat at the fag end of the year 2022. After slamming three centuries against Pakistan where he accumulated 468 runs across three Tests, the Englishman was adjudged the Player of the Series.

And now ICC has acknowledged his performance by giving him the Player of the Month Award for December. Brook was chosen ahead of Australia's Travis Head and Pakistan's captain Babar Azam, who were also in contention for ICC's monthly award.

Notably, the 23-year-old also attracted a massive bid at the IPL 2023 auction, which was held in December itself. He was bagged by Sunrisers Hyderabad for a whopping Rs 13.25 crore in the auction.
