The England Cricket Team continued its resurgence under the renewed leadership of skipper Ben Stokes and coach Brendon McCullum as they beat South Africa by 9 wickets in the 3rd Test to win the series 2-1.

The Three Lions resumed Day 5 on 97 for no loss and needed just 33 runs to bag the series after coming back from a first test defeat at Lord's. England took just 25 minutes to reach the target and finished their innings at 130/1. Alex Lees was the only one to fall on the final day as he got dismissed on 39 by pacer Kagiso Rabada.

This was the third time that both the teams had a three-day match in the series as Day 1 got washed out while Day 2 was chalked off so as to pay respect for Queen Elizabeth II who passed away on Thursday.
