There was a stampede-like situation at the ticket collecting station of the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad which is set to host the final IPL match on 28th May.

Several viral videos show cricket fans scrambling for tickets outside the stadium gate in the scorching heat. While there is an option of availing the tickets online through various apps, fans need to produce a physical ticket to enter the stadium on the day of the final. Though no severe injuries have been reported, videos show there was pushing and shoving among the fans standing in the queues.

Fans alleged mismanagement as there was a chaotic rush outside the venue in order to get their tickets for Qualifier 2 as well as the final.
