BJP MP Gautam Gambhir to participate in Legends League Cricket

Indian veteran Gautam Gambhir is the latest addition to the India Maharajas squad for Legends League Cricket. The former India opening batter confirmed his participation in the competition on Friday.

Gambhir termed his return to the cricket field as 'exciting' and said that he is honoured to play with and against former greats.

Gautam Gambhir took retirement from all forms of cricket in 2018 and since then has been actively involved in politics.

Before the start of the Legend League Cricket on 17th September, a special match will be played to commemorate the 75th anniversary of India's Independence. In that special match, BCCI president Sourav Ganguly will lead India Maharajas against Eoin Morgan's World Giants.
