Going into the Super Four clash against arch-rivals India, Babar Azam, the Pakistan captain feels confident and is also of the thought that his team has an edge over India.

Speaking at the press conference, a day before the game, Azam said, "In a way, you can say we have the edge (over India) because we have played back-to-back cricket, over here and in Pakistan. It’s been almost two and a half months for us over here in Sri Lanka.. We have played Test matches, then the Afghanistan series, LPL (Lanka Premier League) and now Asia Cup…so you can say maybe we have an advantage"

Although Pakistan has played more games recently, Team India has a good record in Colombo and have won 7 of its last 8 games at the Premadasa stadium.
