Dasun Shanaka's men scored a jubilant 21-run victory over Bangladesh in their first Super 4 outing in Colombo on September 9.

With this win, Sri Lanka bagged two important points as well as grabbed the second spot.

Net run-rate is the only thing separating Shanaka & Co from tabletoppers Pakistan, who also defeated Bangladesh in a Super 4 match.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh have been relegated to the last spot with two consecutive losses and a negative net run-rate.

India, on the other hand, will play their first Super 4 game on September 10 against Pakistan in Colombo.
