The Baroda boy saved India the blemishes in Asia Cup 2022 opener vs Pakistan with an all-round show and sparked nationwide celebrations on Sunday night.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who broke Pakistan's back with 4 wickets, had high praise for his teammate. After the game Bhuvi said that he prays that Hardik keeps performing well as his good form will be a boon for Team India in the T20 World Cup as well.
Hardik's brilliant show was applauded from the other camp as well, with Pakistan skipper Babar Azam lavishing praise on the way he finished the game.
